Smart Ampoule Baker:

Smart Ampoule Breaker merupakan alat yang dicipta untuk membantu dalam 
mematahkan kepala ubat-ubatan berampul terutama ampul-ampul yang 
diperbuat daripada kaca dengan mudah. Pengguna hanya perlu me masukkan 
ampul yang ingin dipatahkan ke dalam lubang pematah yang telah sedia ada 
padanya pada kedudukan 45° dan mematahkan kepala ampul. Kepala ampul 
yang telah dipatahkan akan jatuh ke dalam takungan yang terdapat padanya. 
Ianya dapat mematahkan hampir semua saiz, bentuk dan ketebalan ampul 
yang terdapat di pasaran dan menjimatkan masa. Dengan    takungan yang 
disediakan ianya juga mempunyai ciri keselamatan di mana pengguna tidak 
perlu memegang kepala ampul yang mempunyai bahagian yang tajam setelah 
ianya dipatahkan daripada badan ampul.

It’s a series ofkitchen tools which are specially designed for children age 4 to 7 with a simple mission, to encourage children to understand more about food and its preparation, prepare them to have healthier lifestyle in the future. According to some researches, children who are involved in the preparation process of family meal usually have better and healthier lifestyle as adults. Unfortunately, there are not many families that ask their children to participate in this process due to so many potential dangers that can happen.

Kitchen Kids series offers a better way to teach children about food. This series consists of a knife, a chopping board, a vegetable peeler, a grating bowl, a mixing bottle for dressing and a protective mitten to ensure children safety when they use sharp objects. This will certainly give parents peace of mind. The unique color method provides clear distinction between which areas are safe to hold and which are dangerous (hint: red color for “dangerous”). The handles of these kitchen tools are made with rubber with a characteristic shape that supports with grip. Even the grating tool can be fitted with a transparent bowl to catch the grated food.
We can teach children that we live in the world where not everything we eat should be fast food or canned food. Kitchen Kids concept provides our future generation with fundamental knowledge of preparinghealthy meals.

The Parafree wheelchair is a sporty core-body training machine for paraplegics with the outstanding benefit of comfort in everyday use. Sport inspires hope and eases disappointments. This concept wheelchair compels the paralyzed user to keep balance permanently.
The unique and minimalist frame structure of this wheelchair is made of low-cost hydroformed industrial steel. It is light-weight as well as aluminum structure models and retains its necessary rigidity by adapting geometries known from bicycles. The flexible PARACORE base-element under an innovative customized seat-shell leads to an unstable sitting experience.

The paraplegic who is just able to use the upper part of his body defines abdominals, back muscles and in total all tiny deep muscles of the core body. The interaction of arms and core muscles leads to an upright position and reduces orthopedic damage.
The Paracore-Element of Parafree wheelchair copies the three-dimensional movements of human discogenics. This allows a wider range of interactions. Different designs allow for the foamy element to be covered over with benefits like companion-handlebar, optional back lean or luggage rack. The medical aid product “Wheelchair” thereby becomes an innovative training and minimalist streamlined product.

Mohd. Ihsan lulusan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan Elektrik dari Universiti Tokai, Jepun individu yang pertama mengaplikasikan teknologi tersebut dalam perkhidmatan dobi dan penyelenggaraan. Nano Wash Laundry yang diilhamkan oleh seorang anak muda dari Kedah itu merupakan satu revolusi dalam perkhidmatan dobi. Dengan menggunakan teknologi terkini, baju yang dibasuh itu anti kotoran selama lima kali basuhan.

Pasti ramai yang tertanya-tanya apakah keistimewaan perkhidmatan dobi Nano Wash berteknologi nano itu. Ia merupakan sistem cucian dobi yang menggunakan teknologi moden dan terkini dalam bentuk alatan mesin, bahan cucian serta unsur kimia.
Harus tahu bahawa Nano Wash merupakan dobi berteknologi nano pertama di Malaysia dan di peringkat antarabangsa.
Dengan mengaplikasikan Nanoteknologi, baju atau fabrik yang dicuci adalah bebas bakteria, kotoran dan melindungi tubuh pemakainya. Sekali gus menghilangkan bau dan mampu bertindak menyegarkan udara. Demonstrasi yang ditunjukkan Mohd. Ihsan kepada GenK menunjukkan cecair berupa air coklat yang dituangkan kepada sehelai pakaian yang telah dirawat dengan Nanoteknologi, ia tidak serap ke dalam kain seperti daun keladi. Ia juga berkesan bagi kotoran seperti kari, kopi atau apa sahaja kotoran yang sukar dihilangkan.

Inovation of French Crutches

  

The goal of this project was to develop and start production of innovated forearm crutch manufactured in Erilens s.r.o., which would meet the current requirements for construction, technology, ergonomics, design, and safety. The intention to innovate this product was based on the requirements and experience of users of this medical device, where the main objective was to increase the loading capacity of the crutch and bring easy constructing of the crutch. The main flaw of the existing product was “clicking” of the adjusting peg on the positioning tube, which has been deformed due to long-term usage, so there was clearance between the individual parts of the crutch. While developing such innovated crutch, our workplace has worked together with Erilens s.r.o. on the following partial tasks:
  • Together with a designer, the shape of the arm cuff was optimized in terms of its strength and optimum ergonomics of the grip.
  • The proposed shape of the arm cuff was numerically analyzed using the Finite Element Method. During these analyses the magnitude and distribution of tension in the arm cuff were assessed while loading on 1,500 N. We focused especially on local concentration of the tension, the magnitude of deformation, and the magnitude of tension. Together with technologists we performed further shape optimization on the basis of collected results and their evaluation.
  • The proposal of construction of the fixation collar, which firmly fixes the individual adjustable parts of the crutch together with the peg. The objective was to prevent the creation of hole in the tube of the crutch by transferring the loading partly to the fixation collar, which reduces the loading on the peg. The construction of this collar was accepted by the Industrial Property Office in 2008 as utility model UV 19210.
  • Before the production itself, the final design of the construction of complete, innovated forearm crutch was numerically analyzed using FEM. The aim of this analysis was to map the tension in individual parts of the crutch while loading and thus verify the capacity and reliability of this system during loading of 1 500 N. The loading of the innovated crutch model was performed in compliance with valid international standard CSN EN ISO 11334-1. The limit condition when the prosthesis or its fixture in the bone fail is considered such loading when the tension exceeded the yield point or the strength limit in any part of the modeled system of innovated forearm crutch.
  • The experimental evaluation of the forearm crutch according to international standard CSN EN ISO 11334-1 Walking Aids Manipulated by One Arm – Requirements and Testing Methods – Part 1: Forearm Crutches. The prototype crutch testing was divided into two parts – static loading and fatigue loading. The static testing is gradual loading up to maximum required strength of 1500 N. The full loading was achieved in 2 s, followed by endurance in the maximum force in time period of 10 s. The fatigue test was performed by periodical loading when the behavior of the loading force was sinusoidal with the upper limit of loading was 825 N and the lower limit was 41 N. The frequency of periodical loading was given to 5 Hz. After the end of both tests, static and fatigue, we performed visual check whether any parts of the tested sample are damaged and whether the adjusting of crutch length is functional. The resulting evaluation of the forearm crutch lead to statement that the tested prototype endured the prescribed loading in both, static and fatigue loadings.
